Dr. Bowman
Clements
Dr. Christen Bowman Clements is a board-certified chiropractic physician with a specialty in non-surgical orthopedics. She was raised in Irmo, SC, and graduated from Ben Lippen High School. She attended Trevecca Nazarene University, a liberal arts college in Nashville, TN, where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude with a degree in clinical psychology. Following undergraduate, Dr. Bowman Clements moved to Chicago where she attended the National University of Health Sciences and earned a second bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences. She led her class academically and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic with honors as Cum Laude.
Upon graduating, she joined one of the busiest and most progressive practices in Illinois. During that time she continued to pursue academic excellence earning a postdoctoral degree in Non-Surgical Orthopedics. She is a board-certified chiropractic orthopedist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Christen is married to the love of her life, Charley, and they have 3 children: Cameron, Chase and Cooper. She enjoys interior design, hiking and camping with her husband and traveling with her family anytime the opportunity arises.
Meredith
Meredith started working at Progressive as a Chiropractic Assistant in January 2019. She became a patient of Dr. Bowman-Clements in 2014 while teaching a Zumba class at Curves, when Dr. Bowman-Clements came to educate the members about the benefits of chiropractic care. She loved the care she received so much that when she had the opportunity to work at Progressive, she couldn’t pass it up! When she is not at work, Meredith is a choreographer for ICRC Children’s Theatre and Chapin Theatre Company, as well as a Zumba Gold Instructor at Seven Oaks Park. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and anything Disney.
Kami
Kami started working at Progressive as a Chiropractic Assistant in April 2021. She has been a patient of Dr. Bowman-Clements for many years. After retiring from teaching sixth grade for 28 years, she jumped at the opportunity to be a member of the Progressive team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She loves reading, gardening, shark tooth hunting, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
Amber
Amber began working at Progressive in 2023 and has brought a compassionate heart and an energetic smile to our staff! She has been a chiropractic patient for many years and loves to tell others about her personal success with chiropractic care! Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two pups. She loves traveling, Disney, porch sitting and squeezing in as much lake time as possible.
